Blanchett, who starred alongside Clooney in his last directorial effort The Monuments Men, is believed to be jetting off to Italy for the ceremony this weekend. Clooney, 53, is marrying 36-year-old human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
While Blanchett’s attendance is unconfirmed,The Telegraph is reporting the Oscar-winner is thought to have reserved a room at the five-star island hideaway Belmond Hotel Cipriani.
